Welcome to Affiliateck, I'm Steve Ford, Affiliateck's founder. I'm a software engineer by trade with over 15 years experience primarily in Telecommunications, Ecommerce and Finance. I've been involved in affiliate marketing since 2006. I started my first affiliate website, Moneybackco.com.au in December 2006, and since then have been involved in one way or another with affiliate marketing.

Along the way I've founded several affiliate marketing based sites, including CarrotReviews.com. I have recently become a partner with iReward.com.au and am responsible for their offers and promotions, primarily focused on the cashback model, driven from affiliated sales and leads.

As a result of the long and varied career I've had with affiliate marketing I have become professionally acquainted with the largest affiliate networks within Australia and have a particularly close working relationship with both ClixGalore and DGM.

I have made many mistakes but have also enjoyed great success along the road and I started Affiliateck as a way to spread the knowledge I've gathered to those who'd like to listen.

There are many sites focused on affiliates or publishers themselves, however there seems to be much fewer targeted towards the advertiser or merchant and so this site is dedicated to that audience and takes advantage of the experience I've had primarily from the publishers side of the fence.
