What are the advantages of affiliate marketing? |

Affiliate marketing's massive advantage in my opinion over say PPC or similar is that you can choose a programme type that only rewards affiliates when you make a sale or get a new customer lead, with AdSense you usually pay for clicks or impressions of your advert, which depending on the landing page optimisation of your website may or may not result in a sale or lead.
You can change the rate at which you pay commission for different advert types, so a large banner ad may give the affiliate a larger commission than just a text link.
You can reward affiliates who perform well with tiered commission structures, providing additional incentives for affiliates to send more business your way.
You can change the contents of you adverts as often as you like and can highlight sales and specials on a regular basis.
You can pay different commission payments for different products.
You can run different types of affiliate programme concurrently utilising different types of affiliates.
You can even provide affiliates with a product feed so that they can feature your individual products on their site and customers can see you wares and decide to buy even before they come to your website.
With affiliate marketing you are literally paying for results.
